There is a good news for Windows Vista users, the new DirectX 11 standard which is the latest version of DirectX used in the Windows 7 OS would now become available to Windows Vista users on Service Pack 2, if you are on older version  of Vista you need to upgrade to Vista SP2 to be able to use the latest platform in DirectX gaming. On the other hand ATI has revealed its first DX 11 graphics card, which is expected to hit stores by the end of this month. (more…)

Microsoft has definitely learned a lot from the snappy interface of Apple’s iPhone, they are coming with Windows Mobile 7 OS targeting premium mobiles phones to challenge the Apple realm. I’ve always felt like there hasn’t been a perfect tool out there for the average person who wants to shoot panoramic shots, and doesn’t want to spend ages assembling them on their machine.

Finally I found an amazing free tool from Microsoft called the Image Composite Editor (ICE). Sure Microsoft has already incorporated panoramic creation capabilities in Windows Live Photo Gallery, but having this standalone app gives you a few more features. (more…)
