There is a good news for Windows Vista users, the new DirectX 11 standard which is the latest version of DirectX used in the Windows 7 OS would now become available to Windows Vista users on Service Pack 2, if you are on older version  of Vista you need to upgrade to Vista SP2 to be able to use the latest platform in DirectX gaming.
