Google is taking a shot at their own version of the service. It’s called Sidewiki, and it just launched. Sidewiki is part of Google Toolbar (and it will be built directly into Google’s Chrome browser). Users activate the service by clicking on a button and a sidebar appears to the left of whatever website is being viewed. (more…)

Google Picasa 3.5 released

Google have released version 3.5 of their free image management application, Picasa.

Available for PC and Mac in English only, Picasa 3.5 adds functionality that bring the desktop client features in line with those already offered on Picasa Web Albums. The Linux version of Picasa, which currently stands at version 3.0, has not been updated. (more…)

Google Gmail Now Allows Users to Undo Sent E-Mail

Google announces a feature that gives users five seconds to “unsend” a message, if they have second thoughts about what they’re sending. The company has been adding functionality to Gmail and Google Apps in order to make them more robust, both to appeal further to the enterprise and to put Google in a better competitive position with regard to Microsoft. Many smart phone users end up having more contacts then they even know what to do with. The ability to jump between sections by selecting their alphabetical position helps this, but if you have seventy-five J names the entire process can get complicated. This is one of the reasons that managing the contacts in your iPhone can be one of the most important parts of customization.

You can end up separating your most used contacts for different purposes using the Favorites function. Just go ahead and begin going through your phone and begin finding the numbers you call the most. (more…)
